Ashley Boggs, a dedicated dog rescuer, came across a heart-wrenching scene on a rural road in Puerto Rico. A brown dog, later named Goji, was desperately seeking help for her puppies. Boggs, working at Miracles for Satos Rescue, acted swiftly to rescue the mother and her pups.

Goji, a nursing mother, was found near a wooded area with two puppies, but after hearing additional cries, Boggs discovered four more hidden nearby. The compassionate volunteer worked tirelessly to ensure the safety of all seven dogs, fitting them into her car to transport them to the clinic.

Once in the care of Miracles for Satos Rescue, the stray family received the attention they desperately needed. They were taken to a foster home where they could socialize with other dogs and learn essential puppy manners. The puppies, named Raspberry, Blueberry, Gooseberry, Cloudberry, Blackberry, and Strawberry, were given monikers inspired by berries.

Goji, described as the “most devoted dog in the world,” adjusted well to her new environment, showering everyone she met with love. She quickly became a favorite among volunteers, bringing joy with her sweet and affectionate nature.

The Berry family, once abandoned in the wilderness, found their forever homes, bringing happiness to their new families.

Goji, who had once sought help for her pups on a lonely road, now enjoys a life of relaxation and love, surrounded by caring individuals.

This heartwarming tale showcases the transformative power of rescue and the positive impact of compassionate individuals working together to give animals a fresh start. The Berry family, once facing an uncertain fate, now thrives in the warmth and care of their forever homes.
