When I say they just don’t make things like they used to, I really mean it. The quality and workmanship that went into making so many products is something that seems to have been lost over time. However, there are certain items and brands that have maintained a loyal customer base throughout years of producing high-quality wares. Here are 12 vintage stoves that stood the test of time (and also happen to look really cool, too)!
1. Glenwood
Glenwood stoves are a true showpiece. This brand rose to prominence in the late 1800s and can be converted to gas or propane today. Look at the detail – you just don’t see that anymore!
2. Clarion
Clarion stoves were extremely popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s, even creating electric stoves in a few pastel colors.
3. Rock Island Stove Co.
How amazing is this Riverside stove made by Rock Island Stove Co.? These cast iron stoves were (and are) desirable because they don’t take up much room, and use coal or wood to heat the room.
4. Magic Chef 6300
Though it was made in the 1930s, the Magic Chef 6300 was actually quite advanced for its time. With six to eight burners and a rotisserie feature, these are some of the largest vintage stoves out there.
5. O’Keefe & Merritt
This O’Keefe & Merritt vintage stove is probably one of my favorites on the list. Made in the early 50s, these add so much character and charm to any kitchen.
6. Wedgewood
Popular in the 1920s and 1930s, Wedgewood stoves are pretty incredible. I love the models made on these legs.
7. Hotpoint
Popular between 1940 and 1960, the Hotpoint electric stove looks surprisingly modern with a perfectly vintage feel.
8. Chambers
This pale yellow beauty is called the Chambers Model C61. How could you not be happy every single time you cooked on this 1952 stove?!
9. Quick Meal
This blue, 1920s-era Quick Meal stove is a true work of art. Though originally designed to be powered with wood or coal, they can be converted to gas, propane, or electric.
10. Elmira Stove Works
Now, the next three stoves are not vintage, but they are designed with vintage and antique looks in mind. The Fireview model made by Elmira Stove Works gives off a perfect late 1800s vibe without the hassle of restoration or conversion.
11. Heartland
Heartland’s Oval stove model is an amazing early 1900s replica stove offering all of the conveniences of modern cooking. I just love this one!

And last but certainly not least, the Margin Gem by Margin Stoves is an incredible replica stove that is meant to both heat your home and be used for cooking. What’s not to love?
